What can we do?
As if you couldn't guess what my question is here goes... What can we do with today's technology in the classroom. I think there are some ways we can use technology in the classroom, for starters we can help students who miss class by getting them involved with www.tappedin.org. We can also increase our resources by looking up lesson plans, ways to motivate kids, and so on. Please let me know what you think.

Yes I think that technology in the classroom is GREAT!! Definitely gets kids attention and helps to make them comfortable on the computer and develop technology skills!!
I am really showing my age, but the more I see online, the more I see how obsolete encyclopedias have become. I would really be scared about my future if I were a librarian!
I love the video links and I think the students will too. What a great way to make a lesson come alive...seeing it live.
Did you see the article in the Naples Daily News about the middleschoolers from Pine Ridge and Immokalee Middle? They were asking questions of the astronauts while they were in space. I'd love to learn how to link into something like that. Perhaps learn how that was set up.
For an "oldie", this type of technology is amazing.
